Big-name country acts seem addicted to nostalgia. They all sing about how much better things were in the old days. A lot of old rockers are in on it too. I understand it to a point, but songs like this piece of horror by Lynyrd Skynyrd (it's a new one) are just flat-out hickish. News: Hickdom ain't hip.
