Wanna see (and hear) something depressing? Watch this: a 1989 performance of The Band playing "The Weight" sans Levon and Richard Manuel. Now, the latter was dead by that time, so what can you do. But Levon was absent because he and Robbie were (and still are) upset with each other, and that's too bad, because with Robbie singing Levon' parts, the tune is awful. And Robbie's picking is off, too.
