From the desk of Ned P. Rauch:

A little while back I wrote a song for some friends' new baby, Lila, recorded it with my band and gave it to my friends as a "welcome, baby" kind of gift. I then played it for another friend, Jean, who writes children's books for a living and she said she wanted to re-record it in a real studio, post it on her Web site and create an accompanying animation for it. So that's what's happening today: I'm about to head into a studio to record the tune. Ought to be a hoot. This is not my first venture into a recording studio, but it is the first time I'll be recording a song I wrote, so I'm jazzed. Wish me luck.
