From the desk of Peter Crowley:

It finally feels like summer up here in the Adirondacks, and even though that also means a wealth of rain and bugs, we'll take it.

Kelly, who sat in again this week, is especially jonesing for warm weather, so she tried to will it in by bringing in a bunch of summery songs - from Al Green to Leonard Nimoy. I added a few warm-weather groovers, too, plus we have new music from Elvis Costello, King Wilkie, Tim Easton, The Builders & the Butchers, Southeast Engine and a sneak preview of the latest by Son Volt.

As the Gershwins said, "the livin' is easy" in summertime, so chill out, slow down your mind and listen to this week's podcast. It's well worth the lack of effort.
